  • How do I know if my child needs help?
    The child behaves differently from his or her peers e.g. mouthing things or drooling after 18 months and need to call several times to get his or her attention despite having normal hearing.
  • How can therapy help my child?
    Rehabilitation or therapy will Improve the child's current condition, maximize his or her potential and ultimately increase their quality of life.
  • How soon can I see the result?
    Each child can have a different outcome in therapy depending on the individual's difficulties and abilities. It is important to understand that the length of time before one can see results depends on many factors such as severity of the problem, frequency of therapy, and consistency of support at home/school.
  • How long will the therapy take?
    Generally, it takes 3 to 12 months but it differs from individuals.
  • How often does my child need therapy?
    The frequency of the therapy will depend on the assessment finding i.e. the nature and severity of the child's problem.
  • How early can my child receive therapy?
    As young as 18 months (the sooner the better).
  • What is the best age for therapy?
    Between 2 and 5 years old.
  • Will my child eventually go to mainstream school?
    The earlier the intervention, the higher the chances.
